The International Journal of Cyber Security, Cloud & Engineering Research (IJCSCER) appoints International Editors to strengthen its global academic presence, ensure high-quality peer review, and promote interdisciplinary research collaboration across regions.


1. Appointment Criteria

To be eligible for appointment as an International Editor, candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • Academic Qualification:
    A doctoral degree (Ph.D. or equivalent) in Cyber Security, Cloud Computing, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
  • Research Experience:
    A strong publication record in reputed peer-reviewed journals, conferences, or academic platforms.
  • Professional Standing:
    Demonstrated expertise and recognition in the relevant field, including affiliations with universities, research institutions, or industry.
  • Editorial/Review Experience:
    Prior experience as a reviewer, editor, or editorial board member in academic journals is preferred.
  • International Representation:
    Must contribute to the journal’s global outreach by representing a country or region outside the journal’s base location.
  • Ethical Integrity:
    Commitment to maintaining academic ethics, transparency, and confidentiality.

2. Responsibilities of International Editors

International Editors play a key role in maintaining the academic quality and global reach of the journal. Their responsibilities include:

  • Manuscript Handling:
    Assisting in the evaluation of submitted manuscripts and recommending suitable reviewers.
  • Peer Review Coordination:
    Overseeing the review process to ensure timely, fair, and constructive feedback.
  • Quality Assurance:
    Ensuring that accepted papers meet the journal’s standards of originality, relevance, and technical rigor.
  • Promotion of Journal:
    Actively promoting IJCSCER within academic networks, institutions, and international forums.
  • Special Issues & Contributions:
    Proposing and managing special issues or thematic sections in their area of expertise.
  • Advisory Role:
    Providing strategic guidance to improve journal visibility, indexing, and academic impact.
  • Ethical Oversight:
    Reporting any cases of plagiarism, unethical practices, or conflicts of interest.

3. Term & Nature of Appointment

  • Duration:
    The appointment is typically for a term of 2–3 years, subject to renewal based on performance and mutual agreement.
  • Nature:
    The position is honorary and voluntary, without any financial remuneration, unless otherwise specified.
  • Renewal:
    Renewal of appointment will depend on the editor’s contribution, engagement, and adherence to journal policies.
  • Flexibility:
    Editors may serve remotely and are expected to contribute periodically based on manuscript flow and journal activities.

4. Conflict of Interest

  • International Editors must disclose any potential conflicts of interest related to manuscripts, authors, institutions, or funding sources.
  • Editors must recuse themselves from handling manuscripts where a conflict exists, including:

    • Institutional affiliations
    • Financial or collaborative interests
  • The journal ensures that all editorial decisions are made with fairness, objectivity, and transparency.

5. Termination of Appointment

The appointment of an International Editor may be terminated under the following conditions:

  • Non-Performance:
    Failure to fulfill assigned responsibilities or lack of active participation.
  • Ethical Violations:
    Involvement in plagiarism, data manipulation, bias, or breach of confidentiality.
  • Conflict of Interest Mismanagement:
    Failure to disclose or properly handle conflicts of interest.
  • Misconduct or Reputational Risk:

  • Voluntary Resignation:
    Editors may resign by providing written notice to the editorial office.
  • Editorial Decision:
