Abstract

Supply chain management has become increasingly complex with globalization, and achieving operational transparency remains a key challenge. Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) play a crucial role in inventory management and supply chain optimization but often suffer from data silos and lack of trust among stakeholders. Blockchain technology, with its decentralized and immutable nature, offers a promising solution for addressing these challenges. This paper explores how integrating blockchain into WMS can enhance transparency, improve traceability, and ensure data integrity. A thorough literature review highlights existing gaps and potential synergies. Using a mixed-methodology approach, this study examines case studies, proposes a blockchainWMS integration framework, and evaluates its impact. Results demonstrate enhanced operational efficiency, stakeholder trust, and compliance with regulatory requirements. The paper concludes with recommendations for businesses aiming to leverage blockchain technology in warehouse operations.
