Abstract

Zero Trust Architecture (ZTA) represents a paradigm shift in network security, emphasizing a model that no one, whether inside or outside the organization, is trusted by default. This paper explores the principles, implementation strategies, and benefits of applying Zero Trust in application security. The adoption of Zero Trust requires a comprehensive understanding of its foundational concepts, technology requirements, and real-world implementation in application security. The research discusses the integration of authentication, authorization, and continuous monitoring to protect sensitive applications and data. Case studies and examples are provided to highlight how Zero Trust can be successfully implemented and the challenges faced during this process. The paper concludes by discussing the future prospects of Zero Trust Architecture in the evolving landscape of cybersecurity.
