Abstract

This paper explores the significance of effective change management strategies in ensuring the success of Warehouse Management System (WMS) implementations. Warehouse management systems (WMS) are integral to modern supply chain management, enabling businesses to optimize inventory control, streamline operations, and improve service levels. However, WMS implementations often encounter resistance from employees and stakeholders, leading to project delays, increased costs, or outright failure. The research investigates the critical change management strategies that can facilitate smoother transitions when deploying a WMS. This study examines various theoretical frameworks, real-world case studies, and statistical analyses to identify best practices and challenges. Additionally, a simulation-based approach is employed to understand the impact of these strategies on WMS implementation success. The findings emphasize the importance of leadership, communication, training, and employee involvement in achieving successful outcomes.
